Jean is the consummate sales professional and a class act.  After years of successful sales management with Mannington, Jean joined Melmart to lead our sales growth in Quebec.  Today, Jean leads the the sales team in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.  In addition to his passion for sales leadership and management, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family at his lakeside cottage, and in winter, driving a snowmobile at full throttle.

Jonathan brings to Melmart years of finance and accounting experience in the logistics industry. He oversees all of the finance side of the business, including credit, payables, receivables, internal cost accounting, and providing any and all of the accurate reporting and forecasting for the leadership team. Pivot tables are a particular passion with Jonathan. When Jonathan is not in the office he is relishing his time at home with his wife and children, tending to his latest aquarium project and fish acquisitions.

Greg is responsible for Operations, including our Customer Service, Purchasing, and the Warehouse teams.  His whole career has been spent learning his craft, first as a senior leader in one of Canada’s largest retail distribution centres, and then coming to Melmart to significantly improve our effectiveness and efficiency.  He has been instrumental in Melmart’s progress into warehouse automation, LEAN principles, RF, and KPI implementation.  Greg grew up in Cornerbrook, and when he’s not teaching us about the difference between haddock and cod, he is working on an endless list of DIY projects.

Marcus has done it all in his career in flooring distribution. He has extensive flooring product knowledge as well as a long history of improving effectiveness and efficiency in all areas of wholesale distribution. As Vice President, Sales and Marketing, he oversees all of the marketing and sales across all branches.  Marcus is a key member of Melmart’s senior leadership team and is highly respected by all who work with him. When he’s not leading and managing, he treasures his time with his wife and children, and dreaming of a little sailing.

Grant has led the senior leadership team at Melmart for many years. Over his career he has been a business owner as well as held several senior management positions. He is passionate about building on Melmart’s legacy as a business that offers phenomenal service to our customers, deepening relationships with both the current and new generation of customers, and ensuring that we continue to build the best team in the industry. The entire management group is constantly inspired to raise the bar thanks to Grant’s impatience with the status quo. His wife and children joyfully fill his time when he’s not at Melmart, along with his latest home reno project and playing the piano.

Dean literally grew up in the business. His earliest recollections are walking around the board room table for $0.25/hour and collating price lists for his Dad. After university he purchased the shares of the company from his family and spent ten years learning every aspect of the enterprise. Today Dean is committed to the values, the health and the growth of the business, hiring and working with people better than himself, so together the Melmart team can provide the best customer experience in the industry, period. When Dean is not “in the building”, he relishes time with his wife, children and three amazing grandkids, preferably boating across a Muskoka lake.
